Jessica Franklin

Jessica began dancing in Medina, Ohio, at age three and continued in competitions and as an assistant teacher through her teens. In 1993 she took a part-time job teaching at a local studio and stumbled into her dream job. She furthers her dance and instructional education through conventions around the country. Jessica has taught for various studios in Ohio, Indiana and Florida, and has choreographed a variety of musicals including: 42nd Street, Anything Goes, The Wizard of Oz, and The Music Man. It isn't unusual for her students to take top awards at the competition level. Jessica teaches tap, jazz and combination classes.

Emily Franklin

Emily began her training in Medina and continued her dancing at Pointe Park College in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, as a dance major. She holds an English Integrated Language Arts degree as well as a dance minor from Kent State University. As a teen, Emily won numerous awards and continues to attend conventions to broaden her repertoire. She has choreographed for musicals including Pipe Dream, as well as the Miss Medina Pageant. Her choreography continues to win awards at competitions throughout the United States. Emily teaches jazz, tap, ballet and combination classes at Art in Motion. |

Nicole Stewart
Instructor
Nikki danced in Medina from the age of 2 until she graduated from High School. Nikki has attended classes in New York, Chicago, Toronto and Los Angeles and obtained scholarships to various New York and LA workshops. She attended the University of Akron as a Dance Major, but due to a knee injury she had to leave the program. From there Nikki joined the Air Force and is currently in the National Guard. Nikki has been assisting and teaching dance classes from the age of 15 and is happy to be a member of the Art in Motion staff. Nikki has an amazing young son named Matthew and is living her dream of teaching of teaching dance and sharing her passion with young students. Nikki teaches tap, jazz and hip hop at Art in Motion.
